Patanjali Regenerative Agriculture

The Patanjali Regenerative Agriculture Carbon Project in selected disctricts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh introduces conservation tillage, direct‑seeded rice, crop residue management, cover crops, agroforestry, and improved fertilizer practices. Initial implementation covers ~5000 ha, generating ~3,00,000 tCO₂e over the 20 years crediting period, with plans to expand to 50,000+ ha. Supported by stakeholder consultations and digital MRV systems, the project builds farmer participation under a revenue‑sharing model, positioning Patanjali as a leader in climate‑positive regenerative agriculture.
